Nailed It Card & Video: Be Inspired Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop. If this is your first visit to my blog, welcome to Canada! This week our theme is 'Urban Underground' and I have a fun card to share featuring lots of products from this suite.
I've been having a blast playing with the Nailed It Bundle. It's also the focus of the online class I've got open right now, so make sure you check out those details below.
You're going to love the little tools in this set, and in my video today I'll share with you how to create a metallic look on your tools, as well as how to create custom colours with your Watercolour Pencils. All the deets are in my video:

Aren't those Watercolour Pencils magic? And the Wink of Stella is a must own with them!

Now please go and visit my incredibly talented friend, Kylie Bertucci in Australia.
Do you wish you could stamp alongside some of your favourite stampers? Good news Canadians, you can! I've teamed up with the #1 Australian demonstrator, Kylie Bertucci, to bring her Nailed It Online Class to Canada! Sign up HERE.

Spring Retreat 2017 Recap w/ Video

Hello my friends! I've returned home from my weekend papercrafting retreat in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, and WOW what a weekend! I'm so lucky to have had 25 incredible women to host this weekend for a crafty escape. I did a Facebook LIVE before I let the ladies in the room, so take a peek:

I had so much fun spoiling the ladies all weekend long with gifts and prizes. Here's a close up of those beautiful tins I gave each of them.
Each tin contained a package of Watercolour Pencils, Watercolour Paper, Aqua Painters, and a Blender Pen. We used all of these items during our Make n' Takes, so the ladies all went home knowing how to use their new Watercolour Pencils.
The sentiment in the Carousel Birthday Stamp Set was totally perfect for decorating these tins. I paired it with some of the Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Paper, and the first initial of each of their names die cut with the Large Letters Framelits. The large tag was die cut with the Lots of Labels Framelits - LOVE that shape!

We also played a game for some prizes and everyone who participated received this bundle of goodies.
I made these cute tags with the Cool Treats Stamp Set and Framelits Bundle. Everyone was super impressed with my shiny hot fudge, and it's SO easy to create. Simply cut the hot fudge layer in Chocolate Chip Cardstock and then add a thin layer of glue from the Fine Tip Glue Pen and set aside to dry. Easy peasy!

Do you want to make sure you're one of the first to get registration info for my next retreat (coming this Fall)? Make sure you subscribe to my newsletter and click the box that says you'd like info on upcoming events in Calgary.
